Dear Friends of Playright,

On behalf of the Executive Committee of Playright Children’s Play Association (Playright), I am delighted to announce that Dr. Josephine Jim has officially joined our Playright team as the new Executive Director.  We are confident that her expertise will be crucial as we advance our commitment in promoting children’s right to play in Hong Kong.

Dr. Jim, a pharmacist, business psychologist, and certified ESG planner, brings over thirty years of extensive experience across commercial roles in the pharmaceutical sector and in education. In recent years, she has held leadership positions in various NGOs, universities, and arts institutions, where she oversaw international partnerships, programme development and funding initiatives. With a strong commitment to community service, Dr. Jim is particularly passionate about education and the well-being of children.

Dr. Jim holds a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from the University of Manchester, an MBA from the University of Warwick, and a PhD in Education from the University of Hull, U.K. Additionally, she has specialized in business sustainability management, strategic perspectives in non-profit management, psychology in management, and knowledge and change management.  We believe that her extensive experience will greatly benefit Playright as we continue to innovate and grow.

As we welcome Dr. Jim into her new role, we would also like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation to Ms Aby Chau for her exceptional service as the Acting Executive Director over the past few months.  Her immense dedication and contributions to Playright have been truly invaluable, and we wish her the very best as she transitions to Singapore.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Josephine as she embarks on her journey at Playright.

Yours Sincerely,

Dr. Victor Koong
